Frank B. Hughes, MD, FAAP
Dr. Hughes was born and raised in Benton, LA. He graduated from Benton High School and went on to attend Centenary College. He attended medical school at Louisana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He did his Pediatric Internship and Residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. After Residency Dr. Hughes served 2 years active duty as Chief of Pediatrics at USPHS Hospital in Norfolk, VA with the rank of Lt. Commander. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He has been a practicing Pediatrician in the Shreveport-Bossier area since 1976. Dr. Hughes son, Broox, can often be found working around the clinic. His wife, Mary Sorrows Hughes, is an artist and her work is displayed throughout the clinic. Dr. Hughes has a special interest in Lionel model trains, photography, and his recent gift of an Ipod.
Dr. Hughes is joined in his clinic by his two nurse practitioners: Jennifer Patton and Kenda Brotherton.
